Community Christian School was founded in January 1997 by concerned parents and Christian individuals in Shenandoah county. A steering committee, formed and led by administrator, Nancy Ritenour, focused on laying the foundation upon which CCS is built.

Community Christian School is an independent, non-profit, inter-denominational Christian school dedicated to teaching students spiritually, socially, and academically from a Christian worldview, emphasizing God's creation and His divine plan for all humankind.

The Shenandoah Valley Young Marines meet on the first Sunday of each month, beginning at 1:30 PM and adjourning at approximately 5:30 PM. We have many events planned throughout the year for our kids, including field trips and community service. Check our Events link on the left side of this page for upcoming outings.

Our program is focus on having a positive impact our young American boys and girls through programs primarily focused on drug awareness, prevention, and American history. The Young Marines attend many honorable events, which educates our youth about the history of our country, as well as how to stay away from drugs.
